Explore a flowing, three-dimensional moving meditation to clear stagnant energy, release stress and recentre. When we can unravel blockages life flows through us as we flow through life.
When we carry stress and tension of any sort, our bodies divert a lot of blood away from our organs and towards our muscles so that we can run or fight. If we don’t need to run or fight but our minds believe that we are in danger, we end up with chronic stress which means days, months and often years where our organs are not receiving efficient amounts of blood and nutrients to do their jobs!
The key to hormone balancing, and releiving many illnesses is to reduce stress and improve blood flow, especially to the organs. Cultivating a qigong practice is a gentle and effective way to reduce stress and bring your body back into balance.
Its easy to believe that acute and obvious trauma is what underlies chronic stress and fatigue which lead to hormone imbalance, but after the last two years we’ve all had more people are realising the impact of day to day stress and tension that accumulates and impacts our health.
Qigong, which translates as energy work, is a powerful tool for self-healing and self-regulation. Through deep internal exploration and observation, the mind quietens and the body begins to open and soften. The benefits of qigong are instantaneous and endless. In this three hour immersion you will get a taste for this beautiful moving meditation; a key that has passed through generations and now to you.
Calligraphy Health is a modern system of ancient knowledge and wisdom that draws on qigong, tai chi, yoga and martial arts. In this introductory workshop you will learn the tools to cultivate a deep self-awareness.
You will learn how to:

- nourish your organs and tissues
- stimulate healthy blood flow

- embrace flow!
This workshop is for you if:
- you are ready to release stress and tension
- you experience chronic pain or fatigue
- you are recovering from injury, illness

- you want to feel empowered by your natural healing ability
- you experience anxiety &/or depression
This workshop is open to anyone. You don’t need to have done qigong or yoga before and you don’t need to be bendy or strong. Come as you are and you will be welcome!
